Dynamic Web Design:
The web master will typically get confused with the web designer/developer and for good reason. Most large corporations that run internet sites have full time web developers who also act as a web master, but a smaller business who does not have the internal components you have to be made away of the differences, otherwise you might be stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Typically you will hire a web designer/developer to either design or redesign a web site for your business that consists of static web pages and a developer to develop database back ends for a more complex site. However, you must be aware that you are typically hiring them for just that, the development of a site. This does not include the maintenance for that site.
Your webmaster is the person who will keep you site up to date as new information or data becomes available. Please see our webmaster section for further explanation of what the different types of webmasters are available to you.
